There's an assumption that cheap lingerie means either a well-known brand cutting corners on lace, or a no-name factory piece that looks nothing like its photos. Both exist on Amazon in volume. But we found nine pieces under $30 that hold up against listings priced twice as high, and this list is nothing but those nine.
How we picked
We ordered fourteen teddies priced $16 to $30, wore each one, and washed the machine-washable ones twice to check for color fade and elastic recovery. Three came back to Amazon: one for a snap closure that broke on first wear, one where the fabric ran a full size small against its own size chart, and one that simply didn't match its listing photo.
