How this site makes money
Short version: we link to retailers, and some of those links pay us a commission when you buy. Your price doesn't change either way. That's the entire business model. There's no subscription, no sponsored placement, no store of our own.
We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. That's currently our only affiliate relationship. We'll update this page if that changes.
What this doesn't buy: influence over the rankings. A piece earns its spot on fit, fabric, and construction, and a bad piece stays off the list even if it pays a higher rate than everything around it. We buy and handle the pieces we recommend ourselves; where a pick is included on specification rather than hands-on testing, the review says so plainly.
Affiliate links on this site use rel="sponsored nofollow", which is the tagging search engines ask sites to use for paid or commission-based links.
